CRASHING, which is now in it’s 3rd season on HBO, recently hosted CRASHING Live!, a night of stand-up at the New York’s Gramercy Theater to benefit the Ronald McDonald House of New York City.

Some of comedy’s biggest acts performed in the name of benefiting the charity which provides temporary lodging for families whose children are receiving local treatment for cancer. A portion of the proceeds from every ticket was donated directly to the Ronald McDonald House to continue its mission. Pete Holmes and Judd Apatow of the HBO series hosted Crashing Live! – a night of stand-up at the intimate venue.

If you’re not familiar, the HBO series, Crashing, tells the story of Pete, a sheltered suburbanite who married his childhood sweetheart and dreams of making it as a stand-up comedian. But when he finds out his wife is cheating on him, his world unravels, forcing him to reevaluate his priorities and plunging him into the deep end of the rough-and-tumble New York comedy scene.

The recent sold-out evening raised a total of $23,186 and featured acts including Pete Holmes, Judd Apatow, Jamie Lee (Crashing, Girl Code), John Mulaney (Saturday Night Live) and Jaboukie Young-White (The Daily Show with Trevor Noah). Regina Spektor was the musical guest.
