Niecy Nash has become a household name, captivating audiences with her infectious energy, humor and undeniable talent. From her early beginnings in the entertainment industry to her current role as host of the hit game-show Don’t Forget The Lyrics, Nash has proven time and again that she is a force to be reckoned with. Fast forward to 2024, and Nash has taken the reins of Don’t Forget The Lyrics a game show that celebrates people’s love for music and song lyrics. The show has struck a chord with audiences, securing impressive ratings in the current season, marking an average of over 2 million viewers per episode. These ratings are a testament to Nash’s magnetic personality, which seems to be the lifeblood of the show. As she humorously quipped,“I don’t have to remind you to remember the lyrics; just remember I’m the one who makes this all look fabulous!

On the show, contestants’ musical memory is challenged, as they get one song closer to winning $1 million if they Don’t Forget the Lyrics!   Contestants choose songs from different genres, decades and musical artists. Then they take center stage to sing alongside the studio band as the lyrics are projected on screen.  But, when the music stops, the words suddenly disappear leaving the Contestant to belt out the correct missing lyrics. If they sing nine songs correctly, they are presented with a No. 1 hit and attempt to sing the final missing lyrics for the top prize of $1 million.

In fall 2024, Don’t Forget the Lyrics is set to continue its reign with new episodes airing Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on FOX, promising to serve audiences with nostalgic tunes and light-hearted entertainment. Nash’s playful hosting style makes every episode a thrill, reminiscent of a lively sing-along party with friends, and viewers can’t get enough.
